During the course of the day at Northridge Montessori School, the children are involved in both group and individual lessons. Our summer mornings will emphasize hands-on lessons for the following with use of Montessori equipment:
- Math
- Language
The afternoon will include the following:
- Art activities
- Theme lessons & activities
- Sports
- Technology
- Art
- Music
Weekly highlights will often include visitors to the class offering unique activities and learning opportunities. A detailed summer program/plan will be available to registered students one month prior to the beginning of the program.
Our summer program is open to children 18 months – 6 years of age.
Montessori education employs this mixed age group so that children may move at their individually appropriate academic pace, whether fast or slow, while staying with their social peers.
